New in: March

Hi lovelies! In September I did some shopping and showed you the loot here. After that, I haven't been on a shopping spree for a while. I was getting tired of my clothes, because all of it is from Costes, where I work. Anyone who works in a clothing or shoe store can relate, haha. Last Saturday most stores gave a twenty percent discount because of Glamour day and I didn't want to pass that up! 

Daily Dose of Gold

Good morning babes! Hope your day is off to a good start! I have a bad habit of snoozing my alarm. If I have to be at work at 9:00, I get out of bed at 8:40. Which leads to me panicking and running around the house like a chicken with no head. I forget to comb my hair or that one thing I should take with me or leave my lunch on the kitchen counter. Morning persons, I will never understand you.

Anyway, these shiny items make my disorganized morning routine just a little bit brighter.

Paris!

Yes! I'm alive!

So sorry for the radio silence, guys! I hope you haven't given up on me! I took a break from blogging to focus on my thesis. I haven't finished it yet, but I miss blogging a lot. Only one solution for that: go work on that thesis girl! post an update anyway.

A few months ago (last december) was my best friend's birthday. I took her with me on a surprise shopping trip to Paris. Both of us have been to Paris a few times before, so museum visits were not on our to do list. Our goal: get Steph a classy party outfit! We did some research the evening before our departure. We searched Google for 'neighborhood shopping Paris vintage' and Le Marais district was the answer. And we loved it!

Turning leaves

Hi cuties! Fall is the perfect season to wear cozy cardigans with shorts. Here I paired a faux leather short, cropped sweater and long cardigan. This cardigan makes me feel like I'm wrapped in a soft, green blanket. I can go to sleep anywhere now :P I also wore it in grey in this post.

Long way to go

Good morning! Yesterday was a beautiful, sunny day. I hung out with my favorite cousin and we went for a bikeride :D
So much fun to cycle together in search for the perfect spot to shoot our outfits. I wore my new peplum top with my old bag, boots and jeans (Great, now I have that Cassie song in my head, does anyone else remember it?). I've had those three things for a few years already. That bag has been to Indonesia, Gran Canaria, Paris and Cairo. I still keep entrance tickets to museums, the pyramids and old metro tickets in the inner pocket. Every once in a while, I open it and take the tickets out. Such good memories!

New in: September

Hello dear! Summer is over (noooo, please come back!), the days are getting shorter and the temperature is dropping. The only good things about fall are the new episodes for season 5 of Pretty Little Liars and the new FW collections in stores! I really shouldn't shop, my clothing room is already bulging with clothes. Still, I could not resist these items. Curious to see my newest treasures?

The Hundred-Foot Journey

Hi sweeties! Here is what I wore yesterday. The long cardigan is the newest addition to my closet. I was looking for a long cardigan for a while now. When I ran into this one, I bought it in grey and green (my favorite color!). My dear friend Asta won two tickets for Ladies Night at the movie theater and took me with her :D
Previous Ladies Night we saw Sex Tape and before the showing, some male models hosted a lottery. Asta got lucky, haha. Anyway, we were a bit late and it was getting dark out, so we literally took 5 shots and walked to the cinema.

What's up Honeybuns!

Going through my vacation photos of Barcelona, I realised I haven't showed you this outfit yet. I should be working on my thesis right now, but instead I'm scrolling through easy home interior DIY's. As long as I have my serious-face on and pretend to think really hard, no one in the office will notice, right? 

This outfit I wore to go sightseeing at Camp Nou and Parc de Ciutadella. It was a hot day, so I wore this light and airy top and skort with flat sandals.

Hi there!

Right now I'm at my parents' place, because we're celebrating my dad's 60th birthday! I stayed the night in my old room (furby, bright green and hot pink walls and all..) and it feels so nice to be in my old home again. I moved to the city 3 years ago, but this town still is home to me. I went to the store for groceries and ran into some old classmates from primary school. I haven't seen or spoken them for years, so it was fun to catch up.

Antik Batik Clutch

Hi lovelies! 

Here's just a quick update from my cellphone to show you my newest crush: this Antik Batik clutch. It was a birthday present from my best friend Stephany. Every year she tries to out do herself, which I think is so sweet. I still wear her presents on the daily basis. Last year she got me a Marc by Marc Jacobs bracelet you can see in my outfit posts.
Antik Batik is a handmade brand from Indonesia. What I love most are the contrasting colors and the abundance of pompoms!
Last tuesday was my 23rd birthday. My boyfriend and I went shopping, to the movies (we saw Guardians of the Galaxy, I begged him to go see it with me before, but now I finally got my way, haha) and my favorite tapas restaurant. After that we stopped by my parents' for some coffee.
Yesterday I had cocktails with my best friend and later the party went on at my place. I love birthdays!

Flower Kimono

Hey darlings! The last few days it has been raining and raining. It doesn't feel like summer at all. My birthday is coming up and I hope it will be a great summer day like the one in these pictures. It was sunny but still a bit cold outside, so this kimono was a perfect cover up to stay warm.

Today I met up with my cousin to do some shopping (we actually came home empty handed, but that's a huge accomplishment for us shopaholics!) and we shot our outfits. She has just returned from vacationing on Rhodes and surprised me with this necklace! She said she saw the necklace and immediately thought of me. Doesn't she know me well? ♥

The heels I bought back in Barcelona at Stradivarius. It's the perfect pair of black heels to dress up any outfit instantly. The sunnies, top and clutch are also from Barcelona. I did some serious shopping there, haha!

Hi there!

I just got home from a short vacation to Barcelona with my boyfriend. It was our first time visiting this city and we LOVED it! Barcelona has it all: culture, history, architecture, beaches, great weather, beautiful people, amazing restaurants and shopping centers that make every shopaholic's heart beat faster. We spent most of our time at the beach, tanning and swimming during the day and strolling down the boulevard at night. Of course we also ate lots and lots of delicious food. For my boyfriend delicious food means sea food, but since I really dislike fish, my Barcelona diet consisted of ice cream, burgers, cheesecake and pasta. Ohhh yeah!

Hi guys!

Last Friday, my cousin and I planned to take some outfit pics. It was a beautiful, sunny day. We went outside, found the perfect spot aaand it turned dark. The rain came out of nowhere. Feeling bummed out, we just took some shots in my living room. Better luck next time.

I feel bad about already neglecting the blog, since I just joined the blogging hype. In a few weeks I'll hopefully finish my thesis and I'll be able to update more frequently. If superpowers were real I would freeze time, because I really need it! Sadly, I don't have any special abilities and clock is ticking. I have to kick some serious butt!

Ever since I spotted the graphic black and white beauties at Cindy's (COTTDS) feet, I've developed a slight obsession for slip ons. I remember wearing slip on shoes when I was little, they are so comfortable! And because I stand on my feet all day at work, comfort is what I need.

adidas Originals x Farm SS14

While shopping with my boyfriend a few days ago, I came across the new adidas Originals x Farm collection. It's a collaboration of adidas Originals and Brazilian fashion label the Farm company. The result is a feminine, colorful collection in four different prints. The bright colors and tropical prints are right up my alley! Especially the blue track jackets with pineapple shaped flowers and the one with kaleidoscope effect are my faves.

Sports wear, or just sports, never really were my thing. Back in PE class, I was the kid who would catch the ball with her face or get picked last. Ah, the memories ;)  Now that the scars have faded (just kidding, I wasn't THAT big of a disaster) and this awesome collab popped up on my radar, I think I fell in love!

Runway Moment
